>> I did not realize that Catholic Caucus meant only CATHOLICS can post in the thread.

Wow. I did not know this either. I may have posted to one of those threads, I’m not sure. Do the titles of those threads actually say “Catholic Caucus”, so we would know it was just for Catholics?
So, other Freepers are not welcome to post there. It is not good for a non-Catholic to go on to a Catholic thread for the purpose of bashing them. But, what if a non-Catholic just has a question, or wants to respond meaning no disrespect? Are they still excluded?
It would probably be best to FreepMail the person who posted the thread with your question. If you post a question and anyone responds, it could break the caucus designation.
BTW, any faith can designate a thread a caucus thread, as long as the article doesn't mention a different faith. Sometimes that's the only way to have a discussion without trolls.
It was Jim's idea.

Yes it said Catholic Caucus but I didn’t realize non-Catholics weren’t suppose to post. I could have accidentally posted to one before too maybe. This time I stated that “I’m not Catholic but.....” so I guess I put a target on my back LOL!!!!

I’m afraid I can’t answer those questions.
It’s not a big deal to me because unlike the trolls around here I have no desire to interject opinion into a conversation where it is not wanted.
1. If you are not a member of the Caucus--don't post on that thread.
2. Of upi are a member of the Caucus and posting on the thread--DO NOT provoke or trigger your NONCaucus members opponents; say negative things about them on the Caucus thread.
3. If you have a genuine question, PM one of the posters on the Caucus thread. Or ask in a non-Caucus thread.
4. There are also Evangelical, Charismatic etc. Caucus threads on occasion.
The use of the word "causus" in the Catholic thread only means that you can't troll it. You do not have to be Catholic to post there. You just can't "Jaquie Blackie" it, if you get my drift.
