Google employees debated whether to bury The Daily Caller and other conservative media outlets in the company’s search function as a response to President Donald Trump’s election
“Let’s make sure that we reverse things in four years,” one engineer wrote in a thread that included a Google vice president
Google employees similarly sought to manipulate search results to combat Trump’s travel ban
I believe that is treason against the spirit of The Constitution. Not sure what the best remedy is but it needs corrected ASAP and the guilty punished.

Whatever “debate” they had was likely very short-more on the lines of how to do it rather than whether to do it or not.
In addition, that decision clearly was implemented prior to the election, as noted by many people-comparing results of various searches.
