I have found, being a home trained “chef” that I don’t want to re-invent the wheel. If someone else has taken the effort to make and market the item I want, why should I take the time to make it from scratch.
I use pre-mixed rubs (Tony Chachere) and “base” items like...Campbell’s Cream of XXXX soups.

I know from personal experience here in the PNW in the backyard of Boeing that PRC is trying to penetrate the aviation parts business and is looking longterm to manufacture jet airliners, basically doing to Boeing and others what they are doing to GM now.
