Harris has lost the race to logicality.

Reducing the committee membership fron 21 to 20 has nothing to do with Harris. This move will make the party split 11 to 9 giving the republicans a 2 vote majority rather than the current 1 vote. They will no longer be subject to blackmail by one rogue member as they were by Flake in the Kavenaue hearing. It is up to the democrats to appoint whoever they want to their 9 slots.
