Melania Trump doesnt think the Dolce & Gabbana dress she wore on Thanksgiving was a big deal despite the backlash over their controversial ad that some people have called racist.
Melania Trump, 48, looked great in a black Dolce & Gabbana dress on Thanksgiving but her wardrobe choice caused major backlash from people since the fashion brands been dealing with a controversy over one video ad that some deemed racist. Although the First Lady has been getting slammed for supporting a brand that would put out distasteful ads, she doesnt get what the big deal is and still thinks the brand is great. Melania has always been a huge fan of Dolce & Gabbana, she absolutely loves their clothes and likes both designers Domenico [Dolce] and Stefano [Gabbana] personally, a source close to Melania EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife. Of course Melania was aware of the racism controversy, but as far as shes concerned it was a big fuss over nothing, they apologized, people should just move on and get over it. Melania puts a lot of thought into everything she wears, so it was no accident that she purposely chose to wear a Dolce & Gabbana dressespecially as she has worn it previouslyshe did so as an act of solidarity and support for D & G. Melania can be seen in the Dolce & Gabbana dress below.
Domenico and Stefano did indeed apologize for their ad, which some viewers called disrespectful toward Chinese culture after it showed Asian models eating Italian food with chopsticks. PRETTY, PRETTY RACIST Dolce & Gabbana. Especially since yall stole pasta from China to begin with, one tweet read. Orientalism is expressed so explicitly in this ad. Its very offensive to portrait all Chinese ppl in such a stereotypical way, another read. The designers filmed a video of their apology and posted it to the official Dolce & Gabbana Twitter account.
Over the past few days, we have thought long and hard with great sadness about everything that has happened and what we have caused in your country and we are very sorry, Domenico said in the video. We have always been in love with China. Weve visited it and seen many of its cities. We love your culture and we certainly have much to learn. That is why we are sorry if we made mistakes in the way we expressed ourselves. They continued their apology by promising nothing like the ad will ever happen again.
In addition to the apology, the other reason Melania doesnt seem to understand what the big deal is about he dress is because she isnt used to controversies such as this one. Melania grew up in a time and place where people didnt get upset at absolutely anything and everything, she thinks people take offense way too easily these days, and believes they should just learn to chill out more and perhaps even laugh at things instead of getting angry at the slightest thing, the source continued. Meanwhile, Melania definitely got a kick out of wearing the dress and the reaction from the liberal mediait definitely appealed to her sense of humor.
We reached out to Melanias office for comment but received no reply.
Melania has yet to publicly speak out about the Dolce & Gabbana controversy but well update if any new info becomes available.
Include the number of abortions that have been forced on us by the left and that 150 million goes up exponentially.

Erin Silvia: Crouching Liberal, Hidden Lesbian?
The DemonRATS have found a new race to discriminate against. It is the Caucasian race.
The words Racist and Racism are nearly dead... with the left continually accusing people with no reason at all and mis-using it for every argument, the word means nothing anymore, I pretty much tune out when I hear those words.
I was called a racist for 8 years every time I disagreed with what Obama was doing, this after voting for Herman Cain in the 2008 Primaries. $9.99 to his campaign was my only political donation ever.
Strange world.....
I wonder how many liberal elites wear Hugo Boss, not knowing they were the uniform tailors to the NAZI’s
Melania wore the jacket that said “I don’t care”. She dares the press to go after her... they try, but she’s ahead of them every time.
We should also include the gulag prisoners that were worked to death
Stupid
The Chinese eat various forms of noodles with chopsticks
Who cares if they are shown eating spaghetti with chopsticks
Exactly.
Do tell us, oh Wise Ones of the media, arbiters of all things PC, is there *anything*, absolutely anything Melania could do for which she wont be excoriated?
Not that it matters. It just makes us love her even more and tighten up the wagon circle.
“There are probably politically correct brands of bathroom tissue”
Remember when you could buy colored toilet paper? Some outcry forced that to stop. Don’t know if it was a PC issue or something to do with health. Probably PC. What isn’t any more?
Hack reporter in CA has mind reading ability. Amazing.
Wow... that’s beautiful. (And I can’t even see the bottom.)
lol
I’m stealing that.
Ha...the Chinese love designer fashion.
This is a protest in a teacup.
How is that ad racist? Consider the reverse: a white person trying to use chopsticks and failing amusingly. No one would take offense.
We can’t hear a translation of the voiceover, but it probably is saying that an Asian woman can wear Italian-designed Dolce & Gabbana better than she can eat Italian pizza with Asian utensils. Very cute!
Isn’t everyone who drives a Toyota a racist, because Toyota once ran an ad which Jesse Jackson claimed was racist?
