"I always liked Columbo and Peter Faulk until I heard Columbo say, “I don’t like guns”. Suddenly lost interest."

I recall one episode (could be that very same episode) in which columbo was reminded that he was required to show up at a police firing range for a regularly scheduled target practice test. He kept putting it off as he didnt want to have to shoot a gun. His supervisors were putting pressure on him to take this test. So columbo got a fellow cop to fraudulently go in his place and take the test for him.
