Another walk down memory lane. For those who recall that the Obama era “Magnitsky Act” said to form the core of POTUS’ 2017 EO freezing the rights of human rights abusers, two updates.

1. Senator McCain was posthumously awarded the 2018 Sergei Magnitsky Human Rights Award in a ceremony in London on Thursday night.

Late US Senator McCain Honored for Defending Russian Human Rights

2. “Holding Khashoggi’s Murderers Accountable With The Global Magnitsky Act”,

“Amid the fallout of the Jamal Khashoggi saga, there is growing talk of the U.S. government using the Global Magnitsky Act to sanction certain Saudi individuals connected to the journalist’s premeditated murder. As Democrats prepare to take control of the House of Representatives next year, there will be mounting pressure on the White House to act against Riyadh using this legislation that was enacted during Barack Obama’s presidency.”

I failed to include a prayer in the ping for the victims and families of victims of the fires in California. The numbers confounded reason, or so I thought. How could THAT MANY PEOPLE be dead or missing?

California Fire: Number of Missing Soars Past 1,000 as Death Toll Hits 71 - Breitbart News

Prayers up for all those with missing loved ones, those who lost everything (including 90 first responders who lost their homes), and may the dead RIP and their families receive the support they need in such unthinkable circumstances.

So long as the Magnitsky Act is at issue, there would be no problem with the president dropping the Prince, with the Magnitsky Act, and including the killers that the Prince is already going to execute, to save himself.

I know of no compelling reason Trump must be confined to deal with only the vicious Prince, who is hanging on a thread in popularity for the office of whatever it is. KING?
Am I wrong?

There are greater priorities, however, than *costing* the United States and instead hurting the USA, over this vicious murder. Our security matters more and our debt matters so much that even our financial red sheet is a matter of national security, impacting our national defense.

We must do our best to at least try to continue a good relationship with Saudia Arabia. What do you think?

(I’m late on board, so perhaps other replies to your post mute my opinion.)

Thanks for your post.
