So long as the Magnitsky Act is at issue, there would be no problem with the president dropping the Prince, with the Magnitsky Act, and including the killers that the Prince is already going to execute, to save himself.

I know of no compelling reason Trump must be confined to deal with only the vicious Prince, who is hanging on a thread in popularity for the office of whatever it is. KING?
Am I wrong?

There are greater priorities, however, than *costing* the United States and instead hurting the USA, over this vicious murder. Our security matters more and our debt matters so much that even our financial red sheet is a matter of national security, impacting our national defense.

We must do our best to at least try to continue a good relationship with Saudia Arabia. What do you think?

(I’m late on board, so perhaps other replies to your post mute my opinion.)

Thanks for your post.

Oh, yes Rita, you are very wrong. I wrote a long post on another Kashoggi thread on FR, so I don't feel unlazy enough to write another.

Here's the short version. When you castigate "the vicious prince" you are dancing to Hillary's, Obama's, Brennan's, the EU's, and the entire derp state's music.

Your "vicious prince", as you call him, may have whacked out derp jihadis (he did), but would you rather have a derp "vicious prince" whack out innocents across the world and infiltrate and take over Europe and our government like the derp "vicious princes" did when derps ran Saudi?

One man's vicious prince is another man's freedom fighter.

Ha. I can flip ANY cliché, right?

Respectfully, I think you are wrong. MBS is the key to a new paradigm in the ME. He's willing to recognize Israel, reform SA's laws and traditions, take on Wahabbism and stand up to Turkey and Iran. That's why he's taking fire. It's the C_A who's saying they have proof he ordered Khasshoggi's murder. What was John Brennan doing in Turkey last month? Why did the whole world go up in arms over the supposed death of a muslim brotherhood, bin-Laden affiliated 'journalist'?

Why was Erdogan so upset with this so-called murder? The same Erdogan who has more journalists in prison than any other regime in the world?

Who's the ONLY world leader who has spoken out about this who hasn't blamed MBS? That would be Donald Trump. There's gotta be a very good reason for that.
