Took out the recycles yesterday afternoon during the bewitching hour. House backs up to 50+ acres of streaks of white oaks, hickory through pine.

Out of the corner of my eye I glimpsed a turkey hen slippin’ away. Then turkeys everywhere slip sliddin’ away. Maybe 20.

Dog has been laying on the backyard patio early night the last few days yipping yapping off on. Go out thinking cool weather frisky deer be moving, and see nothing. Crazy dog.
