That rental vehicle CAN be tracked. Just got back from a trip out west. We returned the rental at the appointed time, but there was NOT a staffer around anywhere. So we just left the keys in it, grabbed our bags and headed for check in at the airport.
In three shakes Mrs. Guy got a text notification the rental had been returned to the correct area. “Thank you for using xxxxx!”
Yup. They know.
A buddy of mine owns a buy here - pay here used car lot & he puts a GPS tracker in everything he sells.
So, the tech is there.
The question is the will to shine the light of truth on this fraud there?
