:: He kept Sessions on not because he was hoodwinked, not because Sessions was a Deep State plant ::
He kept Sessions because to fire/replace him would have been a YUGE distraction from the plan. Media would have gone apoplectic and articles of impeachment would take up every single day in the House.
We saw it with the brash and outspoken Bannon and the Mooch. Both given the boot because their overt personalities became a distraction.
Sessions was not DS but, he still operated in “senator sessions” mode. That’s why he was convinced to recuse. He was being too accomodating which is his nature.
(To this day, I wonder who it was that argued him down to recusal. I’m betting it was Roseyweasel in the cloakroom. Or, possibly Mueller.)
Everything you just said might be true if Sessions didnt start his resignation letter with - at your request - I am resigning.

Your instinct is exactly mine.
I think McCabe must have been involved. Seems like he was the one that was operating Rosie the Weasel, but Rosie broke free later.
So when will we find out, specifically, why Sessions recused himself? Simply for being a Trump supporter and early adopter as a Trumpist?
