For me: I’m a long-time Freeper, but didn’t know about the Q ghetto until I found this thread. I do notice that on non-Q threads, some people post only to disparage Q, Qanon, etc.
Since President Trump knows about and approves of Q, I was surprised to see such hostility to Q hasn’t been met with Viking kitties. Not my website, just one of my favorites.
Great to have you here! We have a lot of fun, encourage each other, support the President and his team and all patriots.
Re the Q ghetto: At first it felt like exactly that. It felt as if we’d been banished or imprisoned or quarantined or something. But I have embraced the idea that it’s mostly a good thing. Not in some Pollyanna-ish way, but seriously good. By restricting us to the Q threads, it forces all of us into this space together with (mostly) like-minded FReepers. We build on each other’s ideas and theories. We politely criticize and refine each other’s theories. We can focus on Q without having our work diluted by other distractions.
We get trolls, but mostly on the first 100-200 posts of a new thread. For the most part, we can get on with our Q conversations without the distraction of constant arguments pro/con Q
So welcome. I hope you enjoy the threads and I hope you stick around and post.
Best FReeQgards,

You should mail ransomnote to get on the thread ping list. That way you'll be able to find the Q ghetto every three days or so when it's refreshed.
Good to see you here, patriot.

The FReeQ thread is one of the hidden treasures of the Internet.
I do not think of it as a "ghetto", but as (ironically) the Free-thinking Zone of Free Republic.
Q is clearly an alternate communications channel deliberately established by the Trump team--analogous to his Tweets as a means of direct communications. I feel a bit sorry for our FReeper colleagues who blind themselves to this essential information.
Unlike any form of "Regular news" (FAKE or otherwise) the Q channel is heavily focused on long-term plans and strategies of the Trump team. Since they are not omnipotent or omniscient (despite apparent MI or NSA capabilities), these plans do not always play out as anticipated, and that seems to disturb some FReepers.
I think the famous quote of Field Marshall Helmuth von Moltke applies here: No plan of operations extends with any certainty beyond the first contact with the main hostile force. ... No battle plan ever survives contact with the enemy.
Another factor of which some appear unaware is that POTUS is not trying to win battles, but to win a war.
Recent American wars have shown, unfortunately, it is possible to win every battle and yet lose the war.
