That’s why I thought we were going to win bigly! Heard some analysis on the radio though, and I think I see what happened. There was a Red Wave. There was a Blue Wave. They cancel each other out to some extent. It was a tremendous collision of partisanship, like two great stags crashing together. Beck et al pointed to the Kavanaugh hearings as saving our @sses this cycle because it galvanized Republicans who had been pretty ho-hum into action.
As Q said, I think they got what they wanted. The wall held pretty well. They got rid of a lot of traitors in the process. We’re pretty dominant in the Senate now, although I am sure they will continue to move much more slowly than we would like. A “turtle’s” pace. If you know what I mean.
