It's heartbreaking and very well done.
His father was murdered and then 6 yrs later his 18 yr old sister was raped and murdered.
Yeh vote no on the first 3 amendments. You are on your own on #4. I still haven’t decided on that one. I think the heart of it is that if a victim does not press charges the DA can go ahead and charge a perp anyway.
As of April 2018, five states have Marsys Law, including California, Ohio, Illinois, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Montana passed Marsys Law, but it was later overturned. Nevada, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Georgia are voting on Marsys Law in 2018.
Okay, now your objection becomes more clear, and I can see why you object. Thanks for the clarification. 8>)
And you dont know what Georgia passed last year. It is not called that but the state law now provides all those protections and notifications. The states you name have it as part of the state constitution which is what Georgia is voting on. There is NO reason to make it part of the state constitution
As I said their purpose may be to make it harder to remove from the books. That is the only reason to make an Amendment to a Constitution. But really my whole point all along is that it is on the ballot for the mid-terms in Georgia. Which is what the original post was trying to determine. I mistakenly thought you were saying it wasn’t, but you corrected me that you were not making that claim.

Fair enough.
They just want to open up the Constitution (US or Any State) so they can GUT IT/Both of THEM...
Not if one is a sneaky politicianscumbag that wants to Open up a Constitution for nefarious reasons, be it State or National...
Sleazebags can be Sneaky.
Thats just another reason to vote no
