I predict that Republicans will pick up 7 House Seats from the 235 and have 242 when the smoke clears.

I predict that the Republicans will gain 4 Senate seats and by later next week we will have 55 Senate Seats in Republican hands. With only 3 or 4 rascals that makes the idiot in Alaska, the RINO in Maine, Sasse and any other temporary idiot unable to control the Republican majority.

I generally make my predictions (un-schooled, ill informed) on Friday or Saturday so I have them to point back to if my big mouth overloads my hummingbird ......

Please add your predictions and related comments. Remember, we want to know the total swing, not just bits and pieces.

Don’t know about the final totals, but we keep the House and Senate, leading to a complete meltdown by the Left. It will be glorious.

The GOP will pick up 2 seats in the Senate and will barely hold the House.

There is exactly one campaign sign in my Democratic neighborhood and that was hidden in the backyard by the homeowner. It is for the most well-loved of the Democratic candidates who absolutely will be winning.

They have been canvassing us like crazy, but the fact is that things are better than they were, thanks to the Trump economy and the Sessions DOJ. They can canvass all they want, I don’t think they will defeat the redistricted GOP congressman even if he is a bit of an idiot. It’s going to be a close thing though.

The Republicans must absolutely work very hard to get as many of their voters to the polls as possible. No rest for the weary because there is no rest for the wicked.

GOP holds house by 5

GOP holds Senate 55-45

Big winner of the night? President Trump

Give the large number of Never Trumpers who are retiring, and the relentless campaigning Trump has gone for the GOP candidates, the Jan 2019 Congress will be a much more Trump friendly place if the GOP holds.

Americans realize they have never experienced better prosperity and leadership. They turn out in record numbers for President Trump, not the goofballs on the ticket. They vote straight R.

Democrats experience total electoral annihilation.

Hard Dems will vote Dem.
Medium Dems will split 70/30 approx.

Hard Repubs will vote Repub.
Medium Repubs will vote 100% Repub.

Black and Hispanic up their republican support by 5-10%(because of Trump)

Do the math.

However, voter turnout is key.

Repubs retain and slightly gain in the House and Senate.

I’ve been paying a fair amount of attention to the national elections outlook. As others have said, the polls are all over the place. Furthermore, pollsters as a group tend to play manipulative games with their predictions. Who can say to what extent any individual poll is warped by partisan bias?

More significantly, we just don’t know for certain how many wavering independents across the 50 states will vote for the Republican message. Nor does anyone know for certain just how many “shy Trumpers” are out there with their soft-spoken public demeanors and inner determination to vote for Republicans at all costs. Nor is anyone certain how inclement weather on Tuesday will discourage weak voters from going to the polls in elections where small turnout differences may translate into victory or defeat. These and other imponderables make fools of prognosticators.

Having said that, I’ll strut into the ring and boldly declare that the Grand Old Party will gain five seats in the Senate for a total of 56 seats but lose control of the House of Representatives by seven seats. There, I said it. Feel free to fling rotten vegetables. ^^;

My prediction hasn’t changed since April: Democraps pick up 10 house seats, far short of the number they need to control. In the senate, we pick up 3. RBG’s Court is dismissed permanently in the summer of 2019 and liberals will be rending their garments and gnashing their teeth, and lighting their own neighborhoods on fire in shrieking protest.

This is the best time to be alive since Ronaldus Magnus!!
