I never thought I’d hear myself sticking up for the woman who tried to destroy Trump’s candidacy (and failed miserably) but... I don’t see ANYTHING wrong with her comment at all. She said when she was young kids dressed up in black-face if they were playing a character.
Ooh! Sirens! THE HORROR!
Well, people DID dress up in black-face if they were playing a character. She didn’t say it was great. She didn’t say she approved of it. She didn’t even say she DID it. She just related a fact.
I guess no one better mention Al Jolson at work anymore. You might just get fired for it in Leftist America.
I agree totally but it a way, it’s justice. They have caused the PC mentality, so it’s only fitting that it should bite them in the butt. Maybe if a few more of them get the ax for something so stupid thoughts will change.
At least Megyn didnt say, when the kids dressed up in blackface you couldnt tell them apart. Gee, can you imagine the OUTRAGE if she said that?

You’re right. But while you can say a lot of vile things in this country nowadays, there are certain taboo things you cannot say lest the thought crimes/hate speech police come down upon you. Even if what you have said is undeniably true.
The world has such a thin skin these days. I could never run for Senate or be nominated for the Supreme Court because it was NOT a tiger we caught by the toe when we were deciding who was “it”.
A white friend of mine on Halloween in 1986 dressed up as Mookie Wilson. Nobody complained.
More recently, Al Roker dressed up as Doc Brown, the crazy white guy from Back to the Future. Sure he didn't use white face, but he put on a straight-haired white guy wig.
What reasonable person cares about any of this.
