just for my clarity, they dont have access to the 8chan version, is that it? (as in thats why they cant post with the current Q tripcode)?

if they do have current access, could they not just post as Q and say...its all a larp...seems pretty simple way of proving they are Q, no?

The You-tubers who took over Q-anon and moved it to 8-Chan have changed the Q-anon trip-code a number of times themselves, so the original Q wouldn't know what the current Q-anon trip-code is...but that by itself wouldn't invalidate his creation story.
From a technical stand point though, the standard 8-chan tripcode is not all that secure anyway...as the folks who hacked the Q-anon id over the summer and posted their own manifesto aptly demonstrated.

I did not start reading Q posts until they were on 8chan. There is no evidence whatsoever that Q was “taken over by YouTubers” or anything similar.
IMO, Q is a real thing. It’s a group of patriots including/sanctioned by POTUS. It is one of the greatest psyops in history. I believe it has multiple purposes. One of them is to communicate with patriotic Americans and give them hope during the very loooooooong process of restoring freedom and justice and dismantling the controlling Big Brother surveillance state set up over decades by those (in both parties) who want to control and exploit us. The situation is so vast and complex that a few posts cannot explain it. But that is the best short explanation I can give. The whole picture would take an encyclopedia to explain.
From a tech standpoint, the trip code provides the security that only someone with the code can post on 8chan. If those fakes who claim to be Q were really Q, it would be extremely simple to just use the trip code to post their identity. That has never happened.
However, it is certainly possible for the trip code to be compromised or cracked. I believe that has happened or has come close to happening on a few occasions. Q has periodically changed the trip code in order to prevent hacking.
There are some who say that elements of the Deep State embedded in one or more of our intelligence agencies are working against Q and in particular that they work to crack the trip code. I subscribe to that viewpoint, but whether I’m correct or not is IMO not relevant to the bigger picture.
I believe that one safeguard against hacking is that Q has 2 different boards on 8ch. So if one board is compromised, Q could deny/verify on the other and then change the trip code.
Re: YouTubers and “Paytriots” and money. Q has absolutely NEVER requested money. Never.
Whenever there is money to be made, you can bet that someone will fill that niche and try to make some. Legit or not. There are MANY you tubers and bloggers and tweeters who post about Q. IMO there are very few who are worth watching/reading. There are some who are in it purely for money. There are a very few who have a patreon/donate link that are hoping to get some support, but are legit and not merely profiteering from it.
JMO: those who are NOT legit and/or not really pro-Q/pro-Trump include Jerome Corsi and Alex Jones. Again, JMO. Microchip is definitely NOT Q.
