Jews killed Jesus.
Nope. All mankind did.
And kill Christian babies to use their blood in their matzo recipes, right?
Actually, Gentiles (Romans) executed Him, and that was only because He laid down His life to save us all from our sins. The sins of all mankind “killed” Him.
It wasn't the fact that the Jews killed Jesus (they didn't), it was the widely held belief that they did (due to mass brainwashing by the Catholic Church for many centuries) which lead to enormous anti-Jewish sentiment, with effects lasting to this day.
Jews killed Jesus.
**************
Not true, not even scriptural. Jesus himself said nobody takes his life, but that he lays it down of his own free will.
Second, it was Rome who executed him, not the Jews.
If you demanded a cop to kill your enemy, is he obligated to comply with your demand? Rome wasn’t obligated to obey a high priest, either.
The 120 in the upper room when the Holy Spirit blessed them, were Jews.
What would the spiritual outcome be been for the world if Jesus hadn’t died?
Antisemitism existed long before Christians ever existed.
Pontius Pilate ordered Jesus to be crucified. He wasn’t Jewish (see John 18.35). The Romans killed Jesus.
“Jews killed Jesus.”
Yeah, sure.
Besides, even IF ***SOME*** Jews 2,000 or so years ago killed Jesus, how are Jews today - some 60 - 70 generations later - guilty and deserving of being discriminated against, etc.? How do you think that Jesus would react to that?
Oh, and BTW, I’d love it if you could explain to everyone how a god can be killed, and also explain how someone is supposed to rise from the dead if they didn’t first, you know, DIE.
