Films; where do you store old celluloid? Where would Whitey store his? Maybe You store it underground in Subtropolis, the Caves on the east side of Kansas City. (Big Mafia war here back in the 70s and 80s.) Who would expect that? Maybe in some box were some interesting short features?

Yep. This was presented this as fiction drawn together from current events, a “what if” story and not as a piece of research.

However, I would recall to FR corporate memory that back in the Whitewater/Madison Savings Guarantee/ Casa Grande years, Free Republic had several discussions regarding a fire at a storage facility in Little Rock that destroyed Rose Law Firm records.(It was on the 6th or 7th floor I think.) In part this is probably what prompted my "Speculation".

(Then again...what did Whitey have on Bobby M.?)
