I am curious what do we do if the hoard decides not to stop but keeps going?
I'm pretty certain we are going to find out. I believe they will not stop short of real force.

My guess: The caravan will head for a bridge. Then there will be chaos, and maybe a stampede. There will be some arrests, and many injuries if there’s a stampede. But most of them will get through, and spread out.
With as many people as this, it will be like trying to herd cats.
Although, as far as I can tell, Mexico is allowing a foreign force to transit its territory in order to invade the U.S. How is that not an act of war? Mexico should set up camps well short of our border into which the caravan should be forced if it persists traveling north. Once the caravan understands that its heading for a camp in Chihuahua or Neovo Lauredo, and not the U.S., it will turn back.

The military needs to seize and secure approximately 2 kilometers of Mexican territory right across the border and set up refugee camps there. Then have the UN administer the refugee camps. Does anyone think the Mexican military will defend their 2 kilometers of turf? I doubt it. It belongs to the cartels anyway and the Mexicans would love it if we killed them all.
