I live several dozen miles from the dig. In our area we find "Guadalupe Biface" tools. These are palm sized tools used for cutting and scraping hides. I have found several.
These are crude tools that seem to me to be much less sophisticated than the arrow point and spear point tools that are also found in Texas. This has made me often wonder if the biface tools are not from an earlier era than the Clovis tools.

When I was a kid in Mississippi in the 60’s, I used to go into the freshly plowed fields in the spring, and especially after a rain, and look for arrowheads...............usually found a few........I always wondered how they got ‘lost’.........................
