Sorry for the vanity, but I don't know whether to go, and do know anyone who's seen it and can advise me.
(Excerpt) Read more at gosnellmovie.com ...
make that, I do NOT know anybody who has seen it
Have not seen it, absolutely zero interest seeing it. I don’t need to see it to know the bad that is going on. I watch entertainment movies if I go to a movie.
I bought tix and gave them to my wife’s paster. Good to support these type of movies.
It is a movie about the trial.
Search for it. There have been several posts
Very powerful and moving!
I highly recommend it.
TAKE YOUR TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS!!!!
Bribe them if necessary!
Theaters have pulled it, even though it was a top grossing film, so I guess you wont have to worry about seeing it.
Still ZERO INTEREST in going. Not a topic I’d ever go to at a theater. I know no one that is going or indicated that they might go. We go to movies for entertainment. This is not entertainment. As a very practical matter, how do you eat popcorn at a movie like this. No, this is something the church can offer to parishioners and most would skip as we already know enough to not need to watch more.
Very powerful movie. Very well done.
Wife and I saw it. Well made, good story. The guy who plays Gosnell apparently hit it perfectly according to Molly Hemingway who was one of the few reporters to go to the trial and helped break the silence around the story. Go see it if you can.
My husband took his parents & they all really enjoyed it. It was more of a crime & courtroom movie than the procedures themselves. They said it was very well done & refitting even when you already knew the outcome
I saw it and absolutely recommend it.
Very good. No gore or shocking visuals.
I thought it was very well done.
Saw it last week. Excellent. Highly recommended!
Good to very good.
Not a Dean Cain fan, but lead actress very good, Nick Searcy did a good job directing.
Told as a detective story by DA & cops.
NOT too gory.
Yeah, not playing here either. It was here last week.
Superb. Highly recommended
It’s a well-made film of the heroism of the people involved in the trial: the detective, the DA, the witnesses. It’s about justice being served in a crime that was hard to get people interested in because of the political witch hunt tactics of the pro-abort side. There’s also an interesting blogger character who helps crack the case—a nice nod to the new media.
I do get your point, though. There was a guy next to us eating popcorn and I wondered where his head was.
Do a title search for “Gosnell”. You will find several threads about it.
