If they don’t show up, there is not a quorum. If no quorum, then no business can be conducted. At least that’s the way it usually works.
I remember that Dems did this for some state legislature - can’t remember what state - they all just left and hid out.

I remember that Dems did this for some state legislature - cant remember what state - they all just left and hid out. I think that was the state with all the Scott Walker drama. I forget which state. One of the snow states.

I remember that Dems did this for some state legislature - cant remember what state - they all just left and hid out. Wisconsin Democrats did it in 2011, but the original case was the Texas legislators fleeing to Oklahoma to avoid the Texas Rangers back in 2003.
