U.S. LNG exports to Europe have skyrocketed, but Germany has not imported anyof it.
As she briefed lawmakers from Germany’s northern coastal region, Ms. Merkel didn’t describe her change of mind as a defeat but as a “strategic” decision that could pay off in the longer term, according to the people. Experts agree that opening up its energy market won’t have an immediate economic benefit for Germany, but it could eventually help the country diversify.

My opinion is that Germany/Europe has been entirely too dependent on Russian energy. Of course that was one of the reasons for the topple of Libya and attempted topple of Syria(pipeline). Stupid-Any one with a brain would know that Russia would not sit idly by and let Syria go-they need that port and they have their own plans for pipeline.
US LNG is a bit more expensive than Russian, IIRC.
Seems spoopy to me.

That occurred to me as well. These ahem “bombs” are SO stupit (correct spelling) that they’re beyond stupid, a whole ‘nother level; nay, another universe of stupid. Unbelievable stupid...
It would be cheap for them if it got Mr. Trump to stop talking about why are we paying to defend you from a country that is now your primary energy partner? However, I do not think their acquiescing on the energy purchase from us will stop Mr. Trump from talking about the Defense Gap.
If you have the threading equiptment needed for an iron pipe you are a plumber or a hardware store. You can buy pre-threaded pipe. Both of these would be a good starting point for a crimnal investigation.
however,easy to buy plastic pipe sold everywhere are cut with a sawzall or even a saw. Good enough for dummy pipe bombs. BTW, this would explain wires to both ends. No metal pipe, nothing for your ground. You want to maintain the illusion of a working bomb. Of course it doesn’t matter since no explosive, no boom.

But he does have to get some right now and then to keep his title of King of the "conspiracy theorists". And I use that term in the best of all possible ways. Not the CIA way.
Then he can guide the narrative and siphon off otherwise "red-pilled" Americans and make them irrelevant to the conversation due to the "kook" lable.
