thx
Great story, thank you! Secretary of States office, hmmm
Thanks Swordmaker, I'm going to classify that one as a "treat". GGG ping, under the subheading "Oh So Mysteriouso", yes, that's a real thing, been around for years.
Bon voyage! Enjoyed your ghostly tale.

Ghouls don’t pay each other much attention, anyway.
Went to Cabo San Lucas. . . tip of Baja California on the Ruby Princess. Great cruise, Cabo is a tourist trap.
We went on the Homicide Hunter Cruise with Lt. Joe Kenda with his wife and the actor, Carl Mareno, who portrays him in the TV show when they do the re-enactments of the crime detections. Mareno had also been a seventeen year police veteran. . . and most of the other actors are either current police officers or DAs like Larry Martin, ADA in Colorado Springs who worked with Joe Kenda in convicting some of the 392 homicides he solved during his career (92% solve rate).
Homicide Hunter is the number one show on Cable, and there were about 340 of the show's fans on the ship. Lots of fun. . . and very interesting to swap stories with Kenda and Martin, especially for me, since I actually solved a murder enabling the authorities to get a conviction they otherwise were not going to get back in the 1990s when I was the foreman on a criminal Grand Jury and the DA in my county presented us a case in which the investigators had found the correct murderer but presented a completely wrong theory of how he had committed the crime and could not get a conviction beyond a reasonable doubt because their theory of the crime was completely wrong and had holes they could not fill due to the botched theory.
Using the same evidence they presented, and my knowledge of human nature, I figured out the correct theory of the crime, and told them how it was done that filled in the holes they had left. It was a ten year old cold case. . . when they investigated using my theory, they were able to arrest the killer four years later, and he elucidated the crime exactly as I outlined the killing had to have been done given the facts.
I watch that show all the time. I really like both Kenda and the Actor. I’ve always been a fan of detective shows-real or fictional. Clue was my favorite game when I was in school.
Kudos to you on solving the crime.
