I'm listening to it now, about 10-15 minutes in, surprisingly entertaining.
Bkmrk.
: )
You’re right ‘Civ. I’ve never seen any Joe Rogan stuff (about 12 minutes through)...very entertaining..
Thanks. HOORAY Roseanne!
It gets dark about 35 minutes in, when she talks about her hospitalization. Right now I've reached their discussion of politics. Rogan's heavily NeverTrump, Roseanne is not partisan (any longer), talked about joining the Walkaway march, he purported not to know what it was or to understand it. She comes off more as a Libertarian, and noted that most of the people she knew who had supported Bernie (which is incomprehensible, considering his level of corruption and dishonesty) voted for Donald Trump after Hitlery skanked away the nomination then shut Bernie out in the cold.
Rogan with Elon Musk was fascinating
I went in expecting to find Musk a bore at best ...a charlatan at worst
I found him an incredible witty brain....no wonder hes done what he has
Im going to watch this later in bed....I loved the Musk segment a few weeks ago
Thanks.
Roseanne has gained wisdom with age...fukn A
Rogan is a lib and not very talented. Before he became first a Fear Factor and then a UFC parasite, he was best known for being a supporting character on the NBC sitcom “News Radio.” His political opinions are garbage and he’s now pulling the same gossipy, chummy schtick that AJ Benza did better 20 years ago. No thanks.
Joe Rogan would be a great interviewer if he dropped the potty mouth. I can’t listen to him because of it.
I was about to say that the f-bombs had tapered of, and as I started to type, he dropped one.
Musk is a funny guy, really smart, not always right. And he really screwed the pooch when he smoked a blunt on the show -- luckily he'd already overshadowed that with his tweets against the SEC. :^)
The other episodes that really knock it out are Rogan's interview with Robert Schoch, and a couple he did with the late John Anthony West (before he was late).
Oh, and BTW, **** "The Conners"..
Check out the ones with Randall Carlson...notably the first and second interviews with Carlson. You will come away with a different sense of the Earth’s climate history.
I think I started one of his -- he's been on there several times, and the one I started was a joint interview with Graham Hancock, uh, I think...
He's somethin' different, that's for certain -- I suspect he's more along the lines of Penn Jillette, a skepticultist (not as smart even as Penn, who is himself not as smart as he seems to think he is), libertarian, with that entertainment industry cynicism and quasi-leftie views, yet he often bashes political correctness (toning that down when he's got some PC trash on his show).
Yeah, with Graham Hancock...but scroll down to the very first Randall Carlson, it will be episode #501, then episode #606. You mind will be uncorked. Grimerica podcast (also on iTunes) has Randall episodes that pre-date the Rogan I believe. They have had him on five or six times. Each time I listen to Carlson, I learn something different...even if it is same episode I have heard numerous times.
On the Grimerica there is a Bruce Fenton podcast #223 that talks about humans going into Africa. Bruce talks in a rapid fire mode, but tons of evolutionary information. Grimerica consists of two Canadian guys that are lovable but not always the brightest bulb in the collection, but because they are intellectuals, they end up asking questions to understand what is going on. They are goofy and curse from time to time, but once you get past that the information is fascinating....
Another podcast is Earth Ancients. I don’t like the host, but the guests range from woo to citizen researchers that have really dug into topics, to scientists...all talking about Earth and us human’s ancient past... Enjoy!
