Don't remember Shoes, but I do Remember Earvin Magic Johnson...we always called him by his full name as he played while I was still in high school and we all followed basketball news. He must have been pretty good (!) as even the grownups in our town knew who he was...and he was playing at the high school level!! We were very proud of him, especially when he decided to go to State.
