My wife & I had just moved from Ohio to Hollywood at the beginning of the SoCal Country Rock movement.

In hindsight, saw amazing shows at the Troubadour club - from Jackson Browne to Linda Ronstadt and her “Eagles” back-up band before they became the Eagles. IIRC, the GREAT JD Souther also performed there.

FunFact: JB lived in same apt building as Frey/Henley - actually in the apt just below JB. They heard how he painstakingly crafted his songs - esp “Doctor My Eyes”.

Amazing times then...and now it’s a 3rd world shitehole.
