Good idea! Better than “bookmarked,” eh?

My first interpretation was: “There’s nothing but Q.” Then I looked at your bio, and thought, “No, that’s not the message.”

Thanks for helping me understand. :)

I just checked and, yes, you do post Q’s throughout. It looks like I’m in good company!

And, the Q-team thinks that they can best oppose the derps by keeping Nov 11 as the day for Vet’s Day? What would be lost if it is observed on Nov 12th?

Ok, I'm doing this without consulting Wiki or my history texts. Bear with me.

The reason the REAL day is 11/11 is because the (?)Treaty of Verailles was signed on the 11th day of the 11th month of 19??. That marked the end of WWI.

That being said, I understand why the vets want to celebrate it on the 11th. The 12th is just a "bank holiday" for the unions!

Now going to check my work.

Well, I was sorta close!

Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and Nov. 11 became a national holiday beginning in 1938. Unlike Memorial Day, Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans—living or dead—but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.

The Treaty of Versailles was the most important of the peace treaties that brought World War I to an end. The Treaty ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers. It was signed on 28 June 1919 in Versailles, exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand..
When Is Veterans Day?

Veterans Day occurs on November 11 every year in the United States.
In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower officially changed the name of the holiday from Armistice Day to Veterans Day.
In 1968, the Uniform Holidays Bill was passed by Congress, which moved the celebration of Veterans Day to the fourth Monday in October. The law went into effect in 1971, but in 1975 President Gerald Ford returned Veterans Day to November 11, due to the important historical significance of the date

11th hour of the 11th month, 1918.

I’m currently working on an article about my husband’s great-great uncle, who was wounded in France on the afternoon of November 10, 1918, and died early the next morning of his wounds, about 10 hours before the cease fire.

Very sad.

2014 year....
March 20, 2014
FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Bringing an end to a closely watched military sexual misconduct trial, a judge on Thursday reprimanded Brig. Gen. Jeffrey A. Sinclair for, among other offenses, mistreating an Army captain who was his mistress, but did not sentence him to jail time and allowed him to remain in the military.

Now...
Col. Douglas K. Watkins, 56, is currently handling hearings in the war crimes

Bias can be tricky. imho, the biases of the participants MUST be representative of the biases of the population concerned. Not eliminated. The biases of those holding the group must be shelved, restrained, eliminated.

W-h-a-t a delicate operation. It hardly sounds possible. But I guess the training for the researchers is pretty tough. Separating one’s ego from the job at hand and learning to compartmentalize must be the way to go.

Learning what words really mean. Studying body language, too. Good grief. So much to know for something like that.

I think that used car salesmen should be focused grouped. Lol.

Jeffrey A. Sinclair’s multiple convictions should have gotten him thrown out of the military, sent to prison and registered as a sexual predator

Wait a minute, wasn't he the Commander of Babylon V?

Doncha just love history?

My grandfather was in Operation Archangel (Army), a Polar Bear, the only time US forces fought on Russian soil, during the Russian Civil war, which was during and after the end of WWI. Gramps was a radioman.

Don’t tell my bros and sisters, but after Mom died, I liberated Grampa’s Russian campaign medal from his mementoe box. Those guys didn’t even know what it meant. I also was gifted, by mom, Gramps’ footlocker. I’m amazed it held up thru 7 kids and now a few grandkids.

Prohl was Sinclair’s judge.

I can’t find anything hinky with Watkins.

Mattis had his own issues with Haditha & Hamdania Marines.
