RBG is getting to be a diagnostic challenge this AM between the cervical lump and now the gloves.

The globes indicate that she has Raynaud’s that is fairly common in older people. You might not think 75 degrees in doors is cold, and maybe you keep your thermostat above below that, but for someone in their 80s and 90s, 75 is like being in an igloo. She’s dressed for A/C indoors.

I don’t think she has any underlying disease going on, just the Raynaud’s phenomenon when exposed to the lower temps.

I suspect the A/C in that room has the temp at 70-72, which would be quite cold for her.

The lump in the neck is so obvious that I doubt that it hasn’t been assessed.

But a little research indicates that RBG has had colon CA and also Pancreatic CA. I don’t know the type, but obviously a slower growing type, which is still very invasive.

This article is from 2009!!! She’s had pancreatic CA since then?

If RBG had suffered the most common form of pancreatic cancer, adenocarcinoma, the prognosis would be terrible, and unlikely that she’d still be alive.

I suspect she has pancreatic cancer known as a neuroendocrine tumor or islet cell carcinoma. Same as Steve Jobs. Which has a favorable prognosis. JObs, avoided conventional treatment? I don’t know what RBG had for therapy.

Bottom line, this fine lady has endured some serious health issues.
