Hope he gets three: Bader-Ginsberg, Breyer, and the racist “Wise Latina” (she has bad diabetes.)

That would leave Kagan as the sole, lonely a-constitutional nutcase on the court.

“She should retire, but she thinks her SCOTUS seat is her own personal possession. How McCainish of her.”

She assumed like all the Left that Hillary would be the next President. Now she’s determined to stay alive long enough to deprive Pres Trump of the duty of appointing another Judge to replace her.

It was Janet Reno, wasn’t it, who said that Trump would not become President in her lifetime? She passed the day before the 2016 Election.

I think Justice RBG is doing something like that....

Remember that talk several months back about the rigorous exercise routine that Ginsberg goes through every day to stay in shape?  What do ya think?

“Wearing gloves indoors could mean she has Raynaud’s Disease....where a person alternates between numbness and shocking pain.”
__________________________________________________

Liz, I was waiting for that to come up. When my beloved saw the picture he pointed the gloves out and said I have a matching set of gloves. LOL

I have Raynaud’s Disease. It’s a circulation issue. They placed me on High Blood Pressure meds to get the blood flowing. The doctor joked with me before the last med that if it didn’t work the next med would have bee Viagra. So glad, so so so glad the med he put me on worked!

As if that were not annoying enough, I have Cold Uticaria, layman’s term would be Cold Allergy. Actually, I have an identical twin sister who has both the Raynaud’s and Cold Uticaria.

We were to be a set of blonde twins and a set of redheaded twins. One blonde did not make it to birth. Throughout our lives we redheads more or less paced each other on certain things. It wasn’t until a few years ago the Cold Uticaria was diagnosed and that answered a lot of questions.

Back to the Raynaud’s...if she’s got that it would sure explain her bundling up. I wonder if she’s bundled up under her cloak when she’s hearing cases... If she’s got Raynaud’s they have got to keep her warm because it is truly a painful condition...once you get cold all you can think about is getting warmer....

“that rule is NOT a rule, but a historically rare event.
it does NOT apply when the Senate majority and the president are in the SAME party... only when they are NOT in the same party...”
______________________________________

MIA_ecc11212, I don’t think a lot of people caught the part of the President and the Senate being Opposite Parties during that timeframe. LOL Details...it’s all in the details.

Okay, maggief. I don’t really feel good about admitting this...I did laugh. Only because I’m still so pleased with the joy in Justice Thomas’ face. I mean, what joy!

My wife has stage 4 breast cancer so I spend a lot of time online, reading research papers, watching presentations, etc.

I watch anything that has Dr. Thomas Seyfried in it. He advocates metabolic therapy. Dr. Seyfried is a researcher at Boston College, not an oncologist, so he can’t treat anyone, but he is advising a clinic in Turkey and another in Egypt. These clinics still have to provide “standard of care” (surgery, radiation, chemo), but they have more freedom to try things.

This video features Dr. Slocum, a young doctor from Turkey. The audio quality is not good, but he shows PET scans from several cancer patients, three of which had cancer of the pancreas.

All of his patients were in very late stage 4. The one year survival rate for those on “standard of care” is 20%, compared to 82% for those under his care.

Overview of Treatment Protocol:

• Metabolically Supported Chemotherapy (MSCT) (lowest dose of chemo)
• Hyperthermia
• Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
• Glycolysis Inhibitors (2-DG, DCA)
• Ketogenic Diet
• Supplements

There was a video posted a couple days ago where she could barely speak. I couldn’t understand a thing she was saying and she seemed to be struggling.

She looked like she always looked. She’s probably pretty depressed now that it’s clear the GOP stands to retain control of the Senate.

After reading all of the responses to this post, I am taken by the tone of the responses. Mostly, they are nothing like the vile comments coming from the other side. Much more civil tone here than on the left. It restores my faith in Humanity. There are still some good ones left.

If the GOP holds the Senate, Ginsberg will have to hold on for at least another year to invoke the no nomination in a presidential election year rule.

I read yesterday on FR that the rule you describe only applies if the senate is controlled by a party other than the sitting president’s.

If we hold the senate, it doesn’t apply.
