Well now..

After all the 'you're all gonna die' forecasts from the weather foregnosticators about the monstrous blizzard bearing down on us, it turned out to be anticlimactic. Maybe two - three inches of snow at most topped by a really thick layer of ice.

Instead of the six - eight (some sources had it up to 12) inches it turned out to be more like this..

My friend said he was proud of the weather bureau. They had accurately predicted eight of the last three snow storms.
