I’ve lived in New York too long.

Perhaps, but your posts always have this certain flair....

Don’t the voting machines come from Soros? That should mean something.

Could be, but sometimes it’s just dirt.

I second that with a *pTOOie*

Corruption. The voting machines were rigged. I know NV is fairly liberal, but there are an awful lot of retired and active-duty military here, and I don’t think the votes were counted honestly. But don’t get me started!

Beaker will have to wait a few more days. I didn’t like the cost of the beak trimming or the restrictions on appointment times, so when I got home, I began to call around.

The place I found is a little farther, but the cost is $25 instead of $37, and I have an appointment for 1000. The vet is there seven days a week, beginning at 1000, so I’m good. Beaker has surprised me. She has managed to eat “upsidedown” and uses the grit to help her with that, even though she can’t eat from the gravel paper. (I have a separate dish of grit for them.) She even tries to use the cuttlebone, which is good, so I’m optimistic.

In NV they do. Stupid state even allowed people to register for voting at the DMV, so more liberal aliens.

I’m glad Beaker is getting by, for now. I just got off the phone with USAA. The young man was able to tell me how much it’s costing for auto insurance for Sally and Tom. I will be doing some arithmetic and then presenting each of them with a weekly bill.

The representative also said that if there’s an increase for Tom due to his collision, it won’t take effect until next June, which is nice for Tom, since he’ll be paying the $500 deductible. I talked to the service manager at the auto shop, and she said the cost to fix the Altima is already over $7,000.

Oh, my stars! With both Sally and Tom working, there is no reason for you to continue to pay the insurance premiums for those two young drivers.

For the cost of repairs, you could get a whole “new” different car. That’s just not right. :o[

Both of my kids were out of the house when they began driving. My son had a license since he was 16, but my daughter was afraid to drive. When he was in the army, my son was assigned to the Motor Pool, and when my daughter was in the navy, she was the Duty Driver. In Italy. What a place to learn to drive!

I’m charging Tom his full bill plus the deductible, but I’m charging Sally only about half, since she also does some driving for the Organization.

Still, the idea for both Offspring is to become more responsible for the Real Life Test that will come when they leave home for good for whatever reason at whenever age.

UPS came to ask me about an “incident” and the driver was very confused by the “delivery.” I said, “Coleman, did you look at this door hanger? It’s dated ‘8-2-18’ and yet, it’s in someone else’s name.” It was. I have no clue who the person was, but I think she may have lived here (this apartment) before I moved in, five years ago this month.

He didn’t even notice the discrepancy, but between the two of us, we convinced UPS Dispatch that whoever that person was, it wasn’t me, and that I’ve been in this complex for a lot of years. It was actually pretty funny!

I now have a friend for life! LOL!

Tom is sanguine about it. He knows he’s lucky to be living here rent-free with a car provided. I haven’t talked to Sally yet.

*Visions of Sally with the Vapors...*

Tom seems to be rather realistic, these days. Not so much when he was younger. But good for Tom! :o]

"Excellent weather, Bob!"

If you recall, my purpose was supposedly to be responsible for the weather on Earth and Mars.

To that end, I have designed mirror systems to occupy the L-1 sites of each planet respectively. In that position, the Mars Mirror will enhance the sun's warming of the red planet, while the Earth Mirror is configured to reduce and ameliorate hot spots around the globe. Mars obviously is the easier task.

Further Note: The Earth Mirror will not likely be needed until supposed Anthropogenic Climate Change is shown to be operative and ongoing, perhaps in several hundred years. However, should solar irregularity prove to be a problem, the Earth Mirror concept may need to be expanded to an even greater extent.

Additional Further Note: These designs have not reached the stage of preliminary fabrication or implementation yet. Just think of me as more of an idea man.
