I think I remember someone saying she ran as an Independent write-in after losing in the primary. Her name recognition got her a squeaker win. I know nothing of her father but she is apparently nothing like him. He was well respected unlike this cow.
We are going to see that radicals are going to infiltrate the Republican Party. They will play conservative in the primaries and then go full radical once they win the election. Count on it.
Meanwhile, the national party will be completely unaware of this development.

Hopefully true. Collins' speech 1) gave Murkowski a face-saving way to change her mind and 2) collapsed any moral high ground Murkowski may have thought she had to vote "no."
