It takes some digging, but after a while you’ll start to realize that many (most?) of them don’t actually see Trump as the true leader of the right, or even like him particularly. They originally wanted us to trust Mueller, of all people. Now it’s trust Sessions. And when you debate a lot of them, you’ll see they actually prefer Sessions to Trump. Sessions is a silent killer they say, while Trump clumsily stumbles around, whose primary purpose is a clown show designed to distract everyone from the real work being done behind the scenes, by others. Which is why many of them have stuck with “Trust the Plan” as their motto, and refuse to accept the new “Trust Trump’s Plan” moniker, because deep down they don’t really think it’s Trump’s plan at all. It’s really more Sessions’ plan, and Sessions is the one doing all the hard work. LOL.

Imagine how suckered you have to be to look at our president, with his outstanding list of accomplishments, his terrific fighting spirit and leadership - then somehow conclude that his underling (Sessions), who's mostly been a nondescript potted plant the last two years - is the more effective of the two.
And they believe this why? Because some anonymous internet poster has assured them it's a secret truth, known only to a small band of undercover super patriots deep inside the government.
Such kookery would be laughable, if some of the faithful weren't such unblinking zealots about it all.
