A feud is born.
On Oct. 5, two films will premiere: Lady Gaga and Bradley Coopers A Star Is Born and Tom Hardys Venom. Despite the fact that A Star Is Born has already drummed up significant hype, garnering a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and awards buzz, Gagas fan base is apparently taking it upon themselves to make sure the movie gets as much opening day attention as Venom.
Once the social media embargo for Venom broke following the superhero movies red carpet premiere on Monday night, some Twitter users noticed negative reviews floating around Twitter but it was noted that many of these critics used the same exact wording.

I can’t wait for this movie. It will be the first movie I have seen in five years. I saw the original and then the remake with Judy Garland which is one of my ALL TIME favorite movies. I skipped the Barbara Streisand version because.. well.. because of Barbara Streisand but this one, with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. I imagine it will be terrific.

Interesting analogy. It will probably be a broadway musical and then a “limited series” on Netflix.
She would have to be unusually talented in an unusual way to make a show that bad any worse.
