Capitol Police say protesters arrested today for the 2nd time will not just be released after paying a fine... The repeat offenders will be booked and jailed without the opportunity to be released until Tuesday because Monday is a holiday. via/ @TheOtherKeppler

I am so happy to know this. I wondered if they just took the disrupters out of the Senate chamber and told them to be nice from now on. A fine and a record is good news. Repeat offenders should get a worse punishment and it looks like they will.

I have been at many a demonstration, and a few protests, but never blocked traffic or got in anyone’s Personal space.
