Montana’s Republican Sen. Steve Daines now says he will be able, if needed, to help secure the confirmation this weekend for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh — even his daughter is getting married Saturday, the same day the vote is scheduled.
Fox News originally reported that Daines would walk his daughter down the aisle no matter what, even if that meant a failed vote for the GOP majority.
But late Thursday, Fox reported that Daines had spoken to Kavenaugh, saying he had made “arrangements to get him across the finish line as needed.”
