Procedural vote on Kavanaugh locked in at 10:30 am et Friday.
Senate meets at 9:30 am et Friday. By rule, cloture “ripens” 1 hr after the Senate meets. If cloture is invoked (around 11 am et), 30 hr clock begins. Confirmation vote around 5 pm et Saturday
I was not able to catch all of it but I was watching Fox News and saw them reporting that some Republican Senator was not going to be able to vote on Saturday because he was going to (I think it was) his daughters wedding.
Did you see/hear anything about this and if true what is that going to do to the votes?
