The dims have overplayed their hand, one allegation too many!

“Republicans, Outraged by Brett Kavanaugh ‘Circus,’ Now Match Democrats in Voter Enthusiasm”

FTA:A new poll indicates that Republicans have closed the Democrats’ formerly wide gap in voter enthusiasm, thanks to the ongoing crisis surrounding the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.

A new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Wednesday found that 80% of Republicans now say the November elections are “very important,” compared with 82% of Democrats — a statistical tie, well within the poll‘s 4-point margin of error.

The poll was conducted on October 1st (Monday), as the FBI was conducting its supplemental probe of allegations of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh.

The poll results confirm anecdotal evidence from many districts. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said Sunday that the Kavanaugh controversy had helped the party dramatically. Fundraising for Republicans has also reportedly skyrocketed.

Good news! I’m not up for the day, I hope. So this is a drive by. Been up with kitty. He actually ate some wet food mixed with water. Took him forever and I had to keep my other cat away so she wouldn’t gobble it up.

Good morning! (Sleep disorder but I don't go anywhere so I don't try to control it any more.) This entire debacle is so repulsive--perhaps that's what the Prez meant when he said it might be a good thing (i.e., activating the voter base). I feel horrible for the judge and his family.

Real life intervenes. SYL
