Good news! I’m not up for the day, I hope. So this is a drive by. Been up with kitty. He actually ate some wet food mixed with water. Took him forever and I had to keep my other cat away so she wouldn’t gobble it up.
Cavanaugh accuser Ramirez receives Soros Open Society Fellowship
NEW YORKThe Open Society Institute today announced the twenty-two scholars, journalists, former prisoners, advocates, lawyers, and organizers who will receive this year’s prestigious Soros Justice Fellowships. The Fellowships support dynamic individuals working to restore fairness and discretion to the U.S. criminal justice system on a range of issues,
Deborah Ramirez, Boston, MA: Professor at the Northeastern University College of Law and Co-Director of the Northeastern University’s Institute on Race and Justice, to strengthen understanding between law enforcement and the Arab, Muslim, and Sikh communities.
That IS very GOOD news that Rusty is eating a bit, hope he continues to improve.
Soros has his dirty hands in too many countries politics, surly he is breaking laws.
I found Ann’s take on the Kavanaugh “circus” up to par with her sarcastic humor.
“WHATEVER IT TAKES”
Hope your kitty has a better day, Rusty.
That he made it through the night is a hopeful sign.
You must be a very good nurse.
I know you treasure every day, hour and breath from your Rusty.
My screen name is also (Partly) a kitty. Folk often think I am from California.. but my kitty was Cali when i signed up for FR years ago. I found the forum and quickly registered as I was trying to find info on the Glenn Beck rallies and a search brought me here.
Cali’s pix is on my profile page.
She lived to be 19 and died in my arms. a gentle death and I knew that day it was “THE DAY”. Lots of great pets over the years and each one brings blessings and that final heartbreak
Personal note - still very ill. Went to urgent care in middle of night. double pneumonia. They did X-ray me when I was in hospital to get blood. Obviously no one looked at it as the doc at UC said it was very bold & should have been diagnosed then.
so have some antibiotics (which I don’t like and avoid) but sometimes one does need to bow to solutions that will quickly help. I do not overdo med usage. Last antibiotic was when I had my ankle surgery 5+ years ago and it became profoundly infected with staph. Hospitalized with 4 days is IV antibiotics and then follow up with oral and wound care.
Hope to find a place to watch/stream rally tonight. I have just been a slug, sleeping most of the time. No energy and just very tired.
Later all.. looking forward to the news of the day re: Kav..
Glad to hear Rusty’s doing a little better today! Been praying for y’all.
