I think they are close to it. If Kavinaugh gets confirmed and they don’t win the house or Senate, I think that’s their only Next Step. If their lies don’t work, they have nothing left.

I don’t know how Trump keeps up this schedule. Hubby and I were watching him on TV last night and hubby commented but he hasn’t aged a bit in 2 years. But he’ll end up being the only president that comes out of office looking better than when he went in. I think he thrives on confrontation, negotiations, and winning!

Congratulations on the rain! I know how that feels, having had a cabin in the Sierras for about 12 years.
People here still think I’m nuts but I love the rain. It does sort of minimize what you get to do outside, but after 54 years in the desert plus the decade hoping the cabin didn’t burn down along with all the beautiful Ponderosa Pines and giant sequoias, I don’t think I will ever get tired of raindrops.

I do have to say, McConnell has been Top Notch when it comes to Judiciary appointments. I’ll give him credit for that. I heard him say yesterday that the Democrats were trying to destroy the Constitution after Schumer statement right after Kavanaugh’s nomination that they weren’t going to allow it.

The other day my daughter was putting her 3-year old down for a nap. First, it was a need for water. Then, she had to go to the bathroom. After that, she wanted a story. Next, she had to tell us something REAL important. There was always something to DELAY the nap.
RATS are like toddlers, always delaying, always demanding something more, and never satisfied.
