I think reports say only that Trump authorized additional witnesses the FBI wanted to interview. My worry is that, to the FBI, that means more anti-Kavanaugh ones. You have to trust RR to assume that the FBI really means to go after the liars. I’m just not there yet.

]Sessions[ tells POTUS that to thoroughly investigate the Ford accusations, the handling of the Letter must also be done. It may implicate DiFiChi in some “mishandling” matters that touch on privacy.
Trump tells ]Sessions[ that he authorizes the investigation of all persons involved and that he can utilize not only FBI info but, at his approval, info from CIA, NSA and MIL may be brought to bear.

I don’t understand why RR would be running this operation. Sessions isn’t recused from Kavanaugh confirmation. He could tell RR to stay the hell out, and then direct the FBI investigation, including vetting the investigators to keep out DS swine. Maybe that’s what’s going on, but all I hear about is RR.
