What confuses me here is the “AUTH BY POTUS.” Is the implication that POTUS got played?
Authorized? He authorized going after the liars and their attorneys and probably media.
This may be why DiFi wants to see the instructions the WH gave the F_I regarding the “scope.” While the WH is not limiting or micromanaging it, we dont know if they added anything to the list. Just a guess.
My inference is that Ford has refused to cooperate but POTUS authorized additional investigation along with other activities that include GJ

That’s not how I read it. What I read is that the FBI has been authorized by the president to dig into the derp machinations in addition to the Ford claims.
