block the lines and drive the DEMs nuts, give the WH talking points ala calls in support vs. opposition.
Here’s a question for you:
Where/when/how do you think that Trump will reveal all or at least a lot?
I’ve rejected all of these possibilities:
at a rally (only R’s watching)
tweet (too short, too informal)
emergency FEMA alert (too short, too panic-inducing)
my maybe list:
1. SOTU (might be appropriate, but he might prefer not to use it for something that would be seen as partisan?)
2. scheduled address to the nation (He’s never done one, has he? It seems like 0vomit was on all the time, pre-empting normal tv programming. Would the networks give him the air time? If he has had zero addresses up until then, it might be a sufficiently rare occurrence that people would be curious enough to tune in.)
Other ideas? I think he loves giving us hints on 8ch, in tweets, and at rallies, and dribbling out information here and there, but I think if there is a big reveal it’s going to be something a bit more formal and something where he commands the attention of a larger swath of the population. If it’s a tv address, I would expect he would put out enough “teasers” in advance that most people would tune in. Or maybe it would be immediately after some event (big arrest? mass arrest?) where people would tune in to find out the details.
I doubt the Trump cares but it does afford people who support Trump an opportunity to “fight back”.
I haven’t called. I saw quite a few that did, tho.
