Joe DiGenova - What's with the Dr. Ford/PGA Golfers comments??

Interesting stuff tonight on TWO FoxNews shows.

Atty. Joe DiGenova made very cryptic remarks, indicating to me that Christine Ford has had some relationships with PGA golfers that she won't like exposed.

He was gently smirking while saying, (I paraphrase) "Don't talk to PGA golfers about Dr. Ford. Oh no .... you don't want to talk to PGA golfers."

It seems a dark story about the accuser and PGA golfers is right around the corner.

I guess we'll see.

I was talking about the "Dewey Beach Bar Scene" thread. It was quite raunchy. Somebody made a slightly negative comment on the "PGA Golfers" thread -- which also was pretty trashy -- and I responded and got a comment back. You put yourself in the discussion, so I responded to you.

You have to admit that maybe at your age, there is something unseemly about some of the things that got said. Or maybe not, given all the stuff you've said through the years.

Trying to get people banned is shameless and cowardly. It says that you can't take opposing points of view.

I thought less of Joe DiGenova because of the innuendo. Stuff gets brought up in controversies like this, but the guy doing doesn't end up looking very good.

But pointing out her history with other men, and asking if sexual assault really occurred should not be off the table.

Pretty much a distinction without a difference, isn't it? I don't see anyone actually using the term "slut".

True, but it still won't work. Imagine how it will play out. Moderates decide the outcomes in the swing districts. Many of them are not sophisticated. They will not see things as we do (fair play and valid background info in response to a false/baseless accusation.) They will see an attack on women. The goal of ALL OF THIS isn't the supreme court seat. It's the midterms. It always has been. The target has been white suburban women who are in the middle. Will it work... I don't know. But I'm sure that that feeding the fire won't help.

Best to end the farce, vote him in. Quietly dig up all the info on Dr Fake Claim. Quietly. Once enough has been found (and I'm sure there is plenty) offer her an opportunity to recant. If not, after midterms, let it all out.
