An Australian man is being accused of helping his wife commit suicide by convincing her that she was too weak to survive the Rapture, making him the beneficiary of a $1.4 million life insurance plan.
Graham Robert Morant, 69, of Queensland pleaded not guilty recently in the case surrounding the 2014 suicide of his wife, Jennifer Morant, reported the New Zealand-based 1 News Now.
For his part, Morant denies any wrongdoing, claiming that he was unaware that the life insurance policies his late wife had taken out equaled $1.4 million, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Man Convinces His Wife To Commit Suicide Because She Was Too Weak To Survive The Rapture

Headline reads like a statement of fact but it is only an accusation.
That isn’t even Biblical anyway.
No...no he is not.
Wish he could convince Feinswein.
Sure they do. They usually don't pay out or have reduced benefits for the first year or two, but after that it's Don't Fear the Reaper.
“Graham Robert Morant, 69, allegedly repeatedly told her her suicide would not be a sin in God’s eyes because of the financial windfall to his pastor aspirations.”
Unbelievable.
I’m a Christian, and I’m not sold on pre-tribulation rapture.
It’s a more modern theology.
Most do as long as it’s been two years since it’s been in force.
That happened.
A guy knew he was going to kill himself and took out a policy. He waited two years and did it. The problem was he did it two years from when he signed up for it and didn’t wait to have policy in hand. He was off by seven days. No payout.
Revalation, I Thessalonians, Deuteronomy,
Matthew, Mark Luke and John, Daniel, Zechariah, Romans are modern? Didn’t know that...
May never agree on theology, I was raised pretrib. I’ve since done a lot of reading and research. I think there’s a lot of things taken out of context or misinterpreted.
