PITTSBURGH - Six children were taken to the hospital after an incident occurred Sunday during the Shrine Circus at PPG Paints Arena.
A spokesman for Pittsburgh Public Safety told Channel 11 the children and one adult were on a camel when it got spooked.
Five children were taken to Children's Hospital and one to UPMC Mercy. The most serious injury is a broken arm.
ideo sent to Channel 11 shows the camel buck and throw the children off its back.
At this point, it's unclear what caused the camel to get spooked. A veterinarian checked the animal and said it is fine.

"This dangerous incident is exactly what Pittsburgh's ban on using weapons to threaten wild and exotic animals should be preventing. Had the Shriners abided by the law and left animals out of their show, instead of taking the city to court, this camel and these children would have been spared this terror and possible injury. PETA is calling on the Syria Shriners to let this be the straw that ends the camel acts and urging the public never to buy a ticket to any circus that uses animals."
We may never know its motive.
Muslim camel went jihad on infidel kids and woman not in black rags.

Yep, injury-wise this isn’t even newsworthy.
I beleive it was the King of Morrocco who sent camels as a gift to America when we were fighting the Apache (a cousin tribe to the Navajo who weren't then ready to take up sheep ranching) back in the 1880s.
Long story short is that their handlers weren't very successful in passing on their handling skills to the U.S. Cavalry and feral descendents of those original camels still roam parts of the desert southwest today.
How about six kids on his back?
There was Ray Stevens’ song about Ahab the Arab and his camel, Clyde...

Now days, news is defined as something that supports the agenda.

Actually the Camel Corps was a great success. They went without water, ate scrub, hauled heavy loads and scared off the Indians.
It was considered a failure only because it was the brainchild of then Secretary of War, JEFFERSON DAVIS, soon to be President of the CSA.
Now, we can’t have that, can we!
Wow, more than 20 years earlier!
Kids shouldn’t be smoking anyway...
Thanks for the morning laugh ;)
