The biggest red flag was that Feinstein knew about this for months but never mentioned it when she had a chance to question Kavanaugh directly during his confirmation hearing.

What this means is that there is no mention of this in the public record of his Senate confirmation hearing.

The fact Feinstein never brought it up in the confirmation hearings, suggests that she thought it wasn’t credible enough to pursue.

If we’re going to destroy a man’s reputation, then let it be for something thaf he actually did do, not an allegation that wasn’t even pursued with the authorities decades ago.

And Kavanaugh was a nobody in the 1980s. Nobody ever heard of him.
