Why is QAnon a danger to the Trump Presidency? Here are six well-reasoned points, provided by the meme blogger known as Carpe Donktum ...
1. With introduction of the Secret Plan and the "Kabuki Theater" that is required to believe in the plan, Q has placed himself in a position to "interpret" Trump. This undermines the power of the President's words and allows Q to change the message.
2. The net effect of "The plan" is a calming effect on MAGA people who SHOULD BE mad as hell about the lack of support the President is getting from his AG. It also numbs many to legitimate danger that the Mueller Investigation poses, especially if November goes poorly for MAGA
3. Q at it's very core lies about who he/it is, we do not know or understand the motives for this lie. Therefore we cannot predict how the lie could evolve and where the liar at the center of it might lead his followers.
4. Q has red pilled many about certain information that was already known to many of us. That's good. What is not good however is the rampant and reckless conspiracy theories that have been spawned after people with a little bit of knowledge but not much judgement, run with it.
5. Q has brought out the very worst in some it's followers, prompting them to attack any non-believers viciously. It has fed paranoia that many people that have played a vital role in maga have been deep state plants, simply because they do not believe Q is real.
6. Q has given hope to those who do not yet deserve it. Q says, trust the plan, watch the show, it's all taken care of. There is no hope without hard work and sacrifice. We need every single person to be on the front line fighting, not sitting back waiting for a savior.
We are here to UNITE and provide TRUTH.
Dark to LIGHT.
EVIL surrounds us.
WE are FIGHTING for you.
Where we go one, we go ALL.
The choice, to KNOW, will be yours [end].

JME_FAN this is not directed at you personally but is a general statement supporting your post.
Believing Q posts also reinforces the Rat notion that Trump is an irresponsible man & President. How you might ask?
Ok, Make the following assumptions about the truth of Q.
1. Assume Q is Trump as many seem to do here.
Trump is leaking from the WH? WTF! All while the COS Kelly is implementing policy with consequences to stamp out leaks? For Trump to do so would display bad leadership and a contempt for proper procedures and the law. Again what do we know and see every day about Trump. Hes a leader and a good if not great one! Also if he was doing this he would be setting himself up for impeachment by breaking these procedures and laws. One might say Well hes the Prez, head of the executive branch he can decide whether its classified or privileged information or not! Technically yes but imagine the political firestorm that would generate. It would produce a very plausible path to impeachment. Impeachment is a political act as much as it is a legal one! Just not worth the risk & not even remotely necessary that Trump do this. Again if Trump was doing this Mueller would NOT need the “Russian Collusion” fiction! He would actually have a case to argue! Trump is not irresponsible! Trump communicates fine & clearly via Twitter & the Rats try to argue that’s impeachable!
2. Now assume Q is a Trump insider. This is an insider who is leaking privileged or classified information. All the while COS Kelly is trying to stamp leaking etc. out! Again WTF! First and foremost he/she is being unethical and breaking the law. To condone this just because we like what it says makes us hypocrites in demanding the law be served on Hellary (or any other leaker!). Again if a Trump insider is/ was doing it and any sort of tenuous strand could be traced to Trump, the impeachment path is strongly enabled! Again not worth the risk & not necessary!
It would be completely irresponsible of Trump or anyone connected to him to do something like this. Trump is all about a return to law & responsible government. To do this or allow it to happen would give Mueller many paths to impeachment and create a plausible hook for “Never-Trump” GOP Senators/Congresscriters to hang a “yes” impeachment vote/reason on!
Trump & company are not stupid!
I have said this before. Trump is a straight forward kind of guy. Communicates clearly with little to no ambiguity. Read his books if you want proof. Why would he feel the need to communicate (or allow someone to do it!) in nonsensical textual rants that read like Nordic runes? It doesnt fit his known MO!
To accept the truth of Q is by default accepting the Rat idea that Trump is an out-of-control incompetent in the WH and needs to go.
Trump is not irresponsible and he & his people are NOT FOOLS!
I could have sworn I read an article several weeks ago, where someone claiming to be QANON revealed the whole thing to be a hoax.
Frankly, I haven’t really kept up on things. I’ve got a friend who “believes in” the whole Q “thing,” but then she’s also a 9/11 truther.
I’ve been skeptical about the whole thing, because I’ve read promises over and over, since at least the Clinton administration about how “The Truth” is about to be revealed, and how there will be justice done. In the decades since then, there is even less justice while the felonies by governmental officials become more severe and numerous.
I’ve stopped being Charlie Brown to Lucy’s football promise.

Quote(What was promised? What was delivered?)
North Korea was promised. and delivered.
That show had some interesting parts.
The insults back and forth - Rocketman then, on a dime, it’s Chairman Kim,good friend.
The summit is off!
Then an Alice in wonderland oversized envelope from North Korea in the 6th chapter, and ‘the summit is back on’.
Then Trump checks North Korea off his list like one check off milk on their grocery list.
Q got pretty lucky with how North Korea played out.
I am still wondering how North Korea knew to give Trump an oversized envelope in the 6th month like in chapter 6 of Alice in wonderland.
Most of us don’t go around making references to Alice and Wonderland.but Q has.
And in the middle of the year, Trump had his picture taken with an Alice in wonderland oversized envelope.
North Korea may have been one of those things that the media and their followers got duped into thinking it could go south on Trump.
Those who were following Q had no such worries.
LOL, your hope that people will be more stupid than you is not is just not being met here. Innuendo and rumor without verification and reference is just vacuous and worthless BS, as is your puerile and witless attempt at a put-down (i.e., scripted troll-farm post material).
You're the one whose been slobbering over this thread like a thirsty thot...not me.
True. If Trump isn't re-elected, they will say the plan didn't have enough time to come to pass. However, if Sessions is fired, not sure how they can say that. If Trump is re-elected and leaves office in January of 2025, and nothing happens and 50,000+ sealed indictments never appear, not sure what can be said.
Again, I am really hoping the "deep-state op" theory of Q is who Q is, and not the hoax theory (which I believe). I hope Trump and Sessions really do have a plan...and I can trust Sessions. I would love nothing better than to see it.
And in all honesty, I believe that those who think Q is a hoax would love NOTHING MORE than to gobble up crow, SING LOUDLY mea culpas...if it meant a total destruction of the deep-state..."locking her up"...and the plan being real.
Do you not agree? Would that not be the most delicious feeling of being wrong EVER? Most certainly. I surely hope they get to rub everyone's nose in it. I just doubt it.
Actually, he isnt leaking. He asks questions, and posts links to publicly available articles and documents. He does the same thing we do here on FR.
Similar to Trumps tweets, but with links. You dont have to believe in Q. Read the articles, which are mostly mainstream but ignored by the alphabets. Think of it as someone on FR pinging you to an interesting article. Nothing classified has been revealed. No need.
There are 100,000+ Deep State Trump-haters in the DOJ. The idea that they would take action against themselves is just bizarre.
Sessions is a Republican. That means if he is discovered to be secretly prosecuting matters he told Congress he was recused from, he’ll do the five years in prison the law provides for lying to Congress.
That’s why military prosecution and military courts had to be invented; reality forced a change in the narrative.
With all due respect, is English your second language?
And NEVER start a sentence with "LOL".
I'll respond to you when your postings are up to my standards.

JME_FAN,
You got a well-reasoned reply and decided to ignore it. Why not reply to the points below if you’re serious about your 6 points?
_________________________________________________________________________
The premise that Q is a danger to the Trump presidency is absurd. Obviously, if Q is real and working in tandem with President Trump my comment is obvious. So for the points below lets assume that Q is independent of Trump. What do we know for sure.
A. Understanding Trump. First of all we know that the MSM characterization of Trump is patently false. He is very strategic with long term planning. He is also very aware of the news as he is a master showman who wants to control the message. The possibility that Trump is unaware of Q is nil.
B. So if Trump is aware of Q why does he not debunk it if he is not associated with Q? I think there are 2 main reasons.
(i) The first reason was discussed in a tweet from Imperator Rex (See the thread on the pinned tweet from July 8 at the top of his tweets. This is a great read - if you haven’t read it you should it is well worth it - q is primarily discussed on item numbers 10 -19.) The key concept is that the research that is being performed by the anons in relation to the Q comments effectively has a research staff of 1000s at no cost. Imperator Rex says this is genius.
(ii) The other reason is that the comments are all pro Trump and anti deep state. This point of view has not waivered. Almost all of us are aware of the sedition against the President and the crimes perpetrated by the cast of characters - Clinton, Comey, Strock, Brennan, McCabe, etc. Q has helped to red pill this awareness to many. This awareness is critical to bringing down the deep state. If Q is phony it is not from the left who would want to do everything to prevent this awareness.
Both items (i) and (ii) greatly benefit Trump so there is no incentive for him to debunk Q. It is something that can easily be done without disparaging Q followers all of whom are patriots (regardless of whether Q was real). He could set up someone asking him the Q question. I think that these benefits far outweigh the negatives. If Q were harmful to Trump, it is obvious to me (as I have carefully followed Trump from the inception of his June 2015 candidacy) that Trump would debunk it. This concludes my initial assertion.
Before I address the 6 points, I will elaborate on understanding Trump. I believe that Trump has been well aware of what is occurring from the get go. Recall that Admiral Rogers went to see Trump shortly after he got elected and the next day he moved his operation from Trump Tower to Bedminster NJ. Also Trump has been preparing for many years (20-30) and is well connected and aware of the swamp. He is also no stranger to battling with people. It is obvious that he has a strategy in mind. The proof of this is holding back the release of documents requested by Congress. If they are damning to the deep state as is suggested, and in light of the Mueller witch hunt then why not release them right away. Is it reasonable to believe that Trump is going to allow himself to be a punching bag and not fight back? Of course not. The answer is that there must be a strategy in place. A logical speculation is timing - remember Trump is a master showman. Many of us (including me) are impatient and what to see the criminals punished yesterday. Trump however has a long term strategy. By the way his tweets (which are important and strategic) have mentioned declassification. It is clear it is in motion.
Now I will address the 6 points.
1. The point about messaging. Trump has demonstrated that he wants to be the message maker. That is his thing. There is nothing in Q’s threads that contradicts Trumps message. There might be some stuff that Trump does not address but I do not see a conflict of Trump vs. Q. With respect about Kabucki theater, the only thing that I see is the Trust Sessions (and some others). Bloggers Stealth Jeff, Imperator Rex and Thomas Wictor (they all retweet each other) have made a good case that the Trump feud with Sessions is a misdirection. The salient points to this are this has allowed Sessions to do his work unimpeded by the MSM (Jonathan Turley wrote a great article earlier this year that Huber with a staff of almost 500 is more effective than a special council) and also it has the Rats and the MSM supporting Sessions. This makes it more palatable for acceptance when Sessions gets indictments. It is genius if so. Also looking at Trump, the behaviors of a feud do not add up. Why would Trump not say things in private to Sessions rather than go through the tweets. I am not fully there on these arguments. My hesitancy is that when the 1st feud occurred in public in 2017 with Trump’s tweets Sessions was on Tucker Carlson’s show and showed great pains from Trumps comments. It was obvious to me that he was not in on any plan at that time. Subsequently, I think (at least hope) that Trump has spoken to Sessions and told him of his plan. Regardless of what you believe about Sessions and Trump, I do not believe that there is any messaging concern for Trump.
2. With respect to the calming effect on people, the key is whether people get indicted. To me that is the essence of Q. If this doesn’t happen (a takedown of the deep state is the real goal), then Q was worthless, even if real. This takes time. It is clear that we could not have started out with indictments in the first few months of Trump’s administration. That would have been politically disastrous. 3. This is future speculation. Not relevant from existing threads. 4. The red piling of the deep state is critical. I would agree that there has been wild speculation that has not helped. However, the key is the awareness of the deep state. That is what makes the indictments more acceptable. 5. I accept the premise that the feuding with each other is not helpful. To me, the key is dismantling the deep state and getting indictments. That reality makes the feud moot as that is desired by both sides of the Q debate. If there is no action taken then the discord could be harmful to Trump as great frustration would be felt by his supporters. This would be true without any Q threads. 6. It is true that Q’s popularity is based on hope. Also the Q gatherings have developed somewhat into cult behaviors. Some of the Q proofs border on the absurdity. There is one person I follow daily who interprets the Q posts as I find it very interesting and intelligent. Yet there have been some comments that have been cult like. I will name 2. One was a Nov 2017 Trump tweet (retweeted within the last month) where he mentioned 2Qs of growth and Q had 2 posts that day. Another was referencing Trumps Sept 11 tweet where he said that it was the 17th anniversary of 9/11 and she noted 17 - meaning attributing that to Q. Both of these are absurd from a well informed intelligent person. Clear cult like behavior. All of this Q following has a common pro Trump thread to it. That is what bonds everyone. I see no harm at all to Trump. In summary, I conclude that Q is not at all harmful to President Trump. In fact, Q has been helpful.
